Nautor Swan Group is primarily engaged in the design, construction, sale and refit of top-end sailing yachts under Swan, Maxi Swan, and ClubSwan brands, as well as motor yachts under Shadow and Arrow brands.

Sanlorenzo betaalt een equity value van €80 miljoen en enterprise value van €90 miljoen wat resulteert in een aanvaardbare EV/EBITDA pultiple van x9.

This transaction is strategically important for Sanlorenzo, which continues in the path of verticalisation of its key suppliers. In addition, the expertise and experience of Sea Energy will enable Sanlorenzo to benefit from an excellent and highly specialised know-how, aimed at developing projects in line with the sustainability of Sanlorenzo.

Voor de gewone jachten kan het leveren pas vanaf 2024. Dat is normaal gezien het (maximum) twee jaar duurt om een boot te produceren.

Voor de superjachten is er nog slechts één slot open voor levering in 2024 en één slot voor 2025.

Het bedrijf meldt dat het volop aan het kijken is om de productiecapaciteit te verhogen van €800 miljoen naar €900 miljoen. Ter vergelijking bedroeg de omzet in 2021 zo'n €668 miljoen.
